Australia (officially the Commonwealth of Australia) is a sovereign country, located in Oceania between the Indian Ocean and the South Ocean. The Australian telephone numbering plan describes the allocation of phone numbers in Australia. According to the current telephone numbering plan, Australia is divided geographically into four large area codes.
